A The brand Etihad Crystal Cargo itself was officially launched at the Air Cargo Forum 2004 in Bilbao, Spain, in September 2004.

However, Etihad Airways has been engaged in the air freight services from the very beginning of its operations in November 2003.
Q Why is the cargo division of Etihad Airways branded Etihad Crystal Cargo?
A The brand Etihad Crystal Cargo reflects the airline's aim to provide total transparency to the shipping community and the commitment to regard every shipment as an individual investment the customer makes with Etihad.

Q What are the freighter destinations Etihad Crystal Cargo operates to?

The cargo division of Etihad Airways, Etihad Crystal Cargo, offers a comprehensive range of cargo services on all flights of the airline's rapidly expanding network. Currently Etihad Airways serves more than 40 destinations world-wide.

Additional cargo destinations and world-wide charter flights are served by a growing fleet of regional freighter aircraft. Currently, all-cargo-services are provided to Chennai, Frankfurt, Khartoum, Kolkata, Milan, Mumbai, New Delhi and Zheng Zhou.

Q How big is Etihad Crystal Cargo's fleet?

The cargo division of Etihad Airways, Etihad Crystal Cargo, offers a comprehensive range of cargo services on all flights of the airline's rapidly expanding fleet. Currently Etihad Airways operates 18 wide-bodied aircraft including a number of brand new Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A340-500.

In addition Etihad Crystal Cargo operates three regional freighters - type Airbus A300-600RF with a payload of up to 44 tons.
